Kingston Work Lounge

Kingston Work Lounge is a neighborhood coworking space named after the Kingston Lounge, the famous jazz club that once stood on this block.

Opened in 1944, the club was home to legendary musicians and a thriving era of jazz right here in the neighborhood. It closed decades ago, but many neighbors still remember the unforgettable performances, the limousines parked outside, and a jazz groove that carried through the night.

Inspired by that history, we opened Salon on Kingston next door, a community live music venue. This coworking space, the Kingston Work Lounge, gives people in the neighborhood a place to work, play, and create alongside each other, honoring the memory of the Kingston Lounge and everything it stood for: culture, music, local talent, and vibrant community.

Kingston Work Lounge is located at 109 Kingston Ave in Crown Heights, Brooklyn, adjacent to Salon on Kingston, a performing arts venue with shows running all week.
